MERIA Editor and Publisher Professor
Barry Rubin is director of the
Global Research for International Affairs (GLORIA) Center and a professor at the Interdisciplinary University. He is also editor of Turkish Studies journal. He writes the Middle East column for the Jerusalem Post.
His latest books are The Truth About Syria (Palgrave-MacMillan, April 2007) and The Future of the Middle East (Sharpe, in press). His recent edited works include Iraq After Saddam (Sharpe, in press), Global Survey of Islamism (Sharpe, in press), the three-volume collection Political Islam (Routledge), and an eight-volume introductory book series to the Middle East (Sharpe, in press).

He has taught at American University, Bar-Ilan University, Georgetown University Hebrew University, Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, Monash University, and Tel Aviv University.

Publications Director and Assistant Editor, Yeru Aharoni is an M.A. student in Tel Aviv University's Middle East Studies Program. She holds a B.A. in French and psychology from Bar-Ilan University. She has published articles in News First Class online and for The Israel Cancer Association.
Assistant Editor Anna Melman is also Assistant Editor of Turkish Studies. She holds a B.A. in political science (with a focus on international relations) from Barnard College, Columbia University. She is a Legacy Heritage Fellow.
