The Friends of the Princeton University Library offer up to ten short-term Visiting Fellowships to promote scholarly use of the research collections of the Library. The Department of Rare Books and Special Collections has substantial holdings pertaining to the Middle East from antiquity to the present. A. James W. Redhouse Student Prize for Best Progress in the Turkish Language. Four $100 prizes to students making the best progress in Turkish in each of four regions in Canada and the United States. B. M. Fuat Koprulu Book Prize in Turkish Studies. $500 biennial award for best English-language book on a Turkish or Ottoman subject published in the two-year period. C. Halide Edib Adivar Scholarship for Student Study and Research in Turkey. $750 each year to qualified undergraduate or graduate to support travel to Turkey for study or research.
