How to Cite MERIA Journal Articles

MERIA Journal
articles are widely used for research and citation purposes in books, articles and academic papers.  To cite correctly a MERIA Journal article, follow this procedure:

1) Find the article on our website.  If you know the issue or date of the article, click on Previous Issues.    Clicking on the correct year and month will bring you to the table of contents for that issue. If you don't know the issue or date, you can search for the article by subject at the MERIA Index. Identify the correct issue, and go back and click on "Previous Issues" above.

2) From the table of contents for that issue, Click on "Adobe version" for the article you want.  This will open the article in adobe format, and you can find the correct page number for the citation.  This will also give you the correct url at the top of your browser.

3) Here is an example of how your citation should look:

Cameron S. Brown, "The Shot Seen 'Round the World: The Middle East Reacts to September 11th," Middle East Review of International Affairs (MERIA) Journal, Vol. 5, No. 4, (December 2001) pp. 72-73, <http://meria.idc.ac.il/journal/2001/issue4/brown.pdf>
